Starsky & Hutch

Great to see some episodes from the first series ( mid 1970s) being repeated on Sony freeview chanel.Takes me back to Friday nights at 9.25 when it was first shown.Stands the test of time without any doubt.Much of the actual filming was located on the San Pedro area of south LA near the docks.
I always thought it was on a Saturday night.
After the 2 Ronnies and before match of the day.

I suppose if they were ever gonna do a Sunderland version the filming would be done in the Hendon area near the docks .😄

Did Starsky or Hutch have a girlfriend that died? I remember that happened a lot. 😀

I like watching old shows and tried a Kojak a while back which I found quite boring. A lot of it has to do with being used to faster paced stuff these days. Also tried watching Hazell which is on Talking Pictures. I found the voice over narration irritating.

Who loves ya baby !!!??

Loved Starsky & Hutch as a kid, my mum & dad would let us stay up to watch them. Their fancy car and their :::cough::: cool fashion 😂 Been watching a lot old cop shows over the past six weeks while I have been off work ill.

Been watching TJ Hooker too loved that show too, but looks so dated now some of the stuff Hooker, Kojak, Starksy & Hutch would do probably wouldn't even get away with now.

Caught the odd episode of Cagney & Lacey too, looking at it now never realised how the precinct looked so dull and depressing.
