Liverpool v man city

They are a very good side that get massive leg overs from the officials.

Funny how the EFC forum I post on currently has a Spurs, Chelsea, Wolves & WBA fans all saying the same yet "Hendo's" Liverpool are defended to the hilt by some Sunderland fans - and im the bias one.

Maybe I just call it as I see it - for every 1 rare decision that goes against them they get 3 or 4 bad decisions go in their favour on a regular basis.

You could literally do a sweepstake of them getting a penalty or dodgy VAR goal most weekends and be right - thats not predictable its plain dodgy.

Come on Pep go live on tele and call the cheating bastard officials out- take the fine all day long.

About time someone called out the LFC love in - same as it took years of official's terrified of SAF before "Fergie time" was finally pointed out in the media/ by opposition managers.

Absolute belters these posts mind

There’s more chance of us finishing above Newcastle in the next five years than yous over Liverpool.

Doubt it - soon as Klopp fucks off they'll be back to duking it out for the top 4 as their owners only spend when they sell.

They have had sound recruitment and a world class manager come together all at once - that wont last forever.

Thats why the "jealous" comments are so wrong- im old enough to see my club go from one of the worlds best to fighting relegation - football comes and goes in cycles.

Meh not quite, Sunderland have been shite for nearly all of the post-war period, Preston have spent almost 50 years outside of the top flight despite a once illustrious history. The cycles work in some cases, but fact is some teams have had decades of success, others have had decades of mediocrity. The only teams that have never really had a genuinely mediocre spell in the last 50 years are Arsenal and Liverpool.

And you a first class one, calling the officials cheats today!

All the calls were tight as fuck and they just gave what they thought was the right decision at the time.

Liverpool carrying some luck that's all it is.
That handball wasn’t tight as fuck

Cycles? Wish someone would blow our tyres up!

How old are you?

Maybe not a cheat, but I do think these refs are influenced by the biggest moaners at the biggest clubs

Is this game, there was the two biggest clubs in the country at the moment, high profile as fuck, and both clubs were moaning, Liverpool manager moaned in foul for his team conceded and Man City moaned about hand balls, both moaning.

Anyone who says the ref cheated in this particular game taking bollocks simple as that.

The decisions could have gone either way, that's all it was, some people have the make it out, more than it is and that's what that Everton fan is doing simple as that.

Sometimes luck goes with you, that's football, and Liverpool having their fair share at the moment.

Old enough to not let football ruin my weekends mate.

15-20 years ago I would be gutted if they won a game never mind a trophy - now im genuinely not that arsed its only for the dodgy decisions, the unending luck, hordes of glory hunting meffs and media love in that has me hate them as my best mate and numerous family members are reds and I have good banter with them.

I’m interested. How old? Born in 1986?

Liverpool deserved the win. They finished their chances and looked the more potent side.
The handball was 50/50 - it could have gone either way. Had Liverpool not scored immediately after the incident, maybe it would have been given. Impossible to know if Liverpool's goal influenced that decision or not.

It's not over yet, but I do think Liverpool will go on to win the league now. Hopefully losing a few along the way though.

Deserves got nothing to do with it man, its football.
