we are conditioned to failure nandos.. but it has arrived.. it will take a bit longer for some people to realise it.. and i wouldnt blame them.. im the miserablst bastard on here and im happy.. ;)
We are in a shit place atm, No doubt. However if you had told me these blokes would be interested in SAFC in the slightest, i would have laughed you off. Our shit place may actually be one of the deciding factors they chose us in the first place. I always believe positive things happen to positive people. If you don't buy a ticket, you don't win

Its took away some of the excitement the way its unfolding. I wouldve much preferred them to buy it out right. It would also be good to hear what the plans are from the horses mouths. That said, its a start and hopefully leads to a full takeover. Im nervous about SD and CM still making the decisions. The ideal scenario would be them taking full control then first job, pay what it takes to get a top chief exec in. A kenyon or dein, even in a consultancy capacity, or maybe someone who has overseen a rebuild at a continental club. It would be the most important signing they make as the chief exec would set the tone for the rest of the club.

I think he will know after months of talks how the big lads work. I like SD and i really want it to work for him, but i reckon he will have had a very tough few months arranging this. I have said loads of times, but he has always said "Judge me on who's hands i leave you in" I have always said i will judge him on that. He has certainly got a mega player lined up

Methven said the investment is ‘approaching’ an 8 figure sum, so in other words it’s its a 7 figure investment which is still good news.

i think hes just whey out of his depth and needs a bit of help.. he has the tools to do it now..

Have got a grip thanks. No details have come out about what this £10m is for. It could be owt, im cautiously optimistic but wont blindly swallow anything that is fed to me. I would say its the people who just take everything at face value that should get a grip.
So Charlie didn't say?

well said! Im amazed at the blind faith shown considering what we were told about Eliis and thd takeover then what came to light.

Yes he did, he said FPP were, "investing in our management of the club". A suitably vague description that could mean anything. As far as i understand the share structure is unchanged. It begs the question, what are they getting for that?

Im not being negative, just cautiously optimistic.

Could be interpreted as - get us up this year or you're out.

The New investment coming into the club is playing the long game. Get the club back to the PL. brick by brick with responsible capital calls to Sunderland. They are interested in making money on there principal investment.
