USA Cinemas

You can buy booze to take in and watch if you want. Can do you do that in the UK (not been to cinema there for years)?

Definitely not happening in Dubai.

aye you can buy booze from the popcorn place. wine, cider etc.. or just take your own in. i normally take 2 or 3 little red wine bottles, think they are 200ml each, and paper cup. went over xmas holidays once and we took a tupperware box with a cheese board, olives, buttered crackers, red wine, grapes, paper plates, napkins the lot. there was only 1 or 2 other people in the screen.

worst experience at the pictures was when i was ill and off work needed to get out the house so went and seen Arrival, think it was a 10am showing on a monday morning, i was the only one in, place to myself, loving it, till this owld stinker of a gadgie came in, on his own and sat right in the seat behind me.

I got a VIP ticket for a movie in Bangkok, I didn't realise the ticket price also included a cocktail, I don't even drink.

I’ve been listening to some yanks talking about films and they keep mentioning various audience reaction moments, where they cheer, applaud or generally whoop and holler. Is this really a standard thing over there? And are they aware that we don’t do it over here? I think the only time I’ve seen any kind of crowd reaction over here was chanting “Rocky” during Rocky IV.

I went to see Jackass at the cinema many moons ago. By far the best film for cinema audience reaction I've ever been in.

Almost the dream start for Parkinson. The Lads have started with great intensity, Grigg chasing every ball, he's got Watmore on the right and Gooch on the left, with Maguire just behind.

Nowt to do with the opening post mind but I remember pulling my coat over my lap and getting hand jobs loads when I was younger, does this not happen anymore?

Edit: it doesn't happen to me anymore I mean other people.

No-one go to the all night horror films in Newcastle? There was shouting galore, throwing food, frisbees and inflated blobs, and occasional fights. Always a great cheer when one of the lasses stalked by some maniac got her fun bags out.
