NFL 2019

Fun by Numbers

Steelers:
Passing Yards - 1,659
Rushing Yards - 459
Total TDs - 12

Lamar Jackson:
Passing Yards - 1,650
Rushing Yards - 576
Total TDs - 14

In summary, Jackson alone has better numbers than the entire Steelers offense
Yeah but our QB has won a duck calling competition!

I was watching the game last night thinking shit the Ravens have found their franchise QB, still would be worried about the hits he will take although seems to be a bit more wiser there.
Bears last night:

7 punts
7 rushing attempts
Only watched it on redzone but I imagine teams know they can stack the box and force Trubisky to throw it.

Even so you cant just abandon your running game like that - especially with the form Trubisky is in.

Stats wise we were better under John Fox.

Bears should trade for a veteran Quarterback imo, get Fitzpatrick or Phillip Rivers in there. Watching Trubisky overthrow every deep receiver he has open has started to piss even me off.

On a side note, just waiting on the Jets +9.5 tonight for £80.

Good luck with your bet but i'm sensing a bit over confidence from the Jets since Darnold came back..they could get a right shock tonight like.

Not sure I've ever seen a more one sided first 20 minutes than this!

Im a newbie to the NFL but the hatred towards the patriots must be jealousy surely???

Brady is untouchable with what he has done regardless of the team around him - he is just a machine and completely unflappable.

Their defence this year looks legendary mind they will be so hard to get past

It probably is jealousy, but also boredom, they are good every year. They've also had a few scandals and are considered cheaters, look up deflategate and spygate if you care to know more.

They tend to play very close Super Bowls mind, so usually a good one if they're involved, which they inevitably will be.

Yeah I was aware of some of that stuff but I cant believe other teams havent pulled similar stuff its only that the Patriots have been so good for so long people look for a reason why. They pretty much have one of the best coaches ever with one of the brightest QB ever - that enough for me.

The superbowl with the eagles was insane - I was in Philly as a student in 1991 so kind of adopted them but my closest team now is Seattle so will get to a game once I can convince the missus to have a weekend there sometime.

I am just glad I didnt decide to get a job in Cleveland or miami as if I followed them and Sunderland I would be worried for my mental health 😂

Other teams have done similar things. Jets defensive coordinator tonight was giving financial incentives for players injuring opposing players out of games when he was with the Saints. And they won the Super Bowl playing like that.

Always wanted to go to a game in Seattle, suppised to be one of the best atmospheres in the NFL.

Well that embarrassing.

Darnold was dire, terrifyingly so, but he's young (even by rookie standards, hed he a young a QB) so it's going to happen. Needs to learn though, and fast.

Coaching is beyond bad. Just comically bad. Oline is poor, but no adjustments/help/gameplan to account for it. Pats defence is obviously amazing, but Jesus wept - they just had to do one thing.(blitz) again and again and again and again. Darnold even told a guard on first play of the game "that's the blitzer" and he still got throw and pressured Darnold into a (stupid) interception.

Buzzing we have a load of games left against tanking teams for Gase to keep himself in a job for a second year. The man's a clown.
