Pod style coffee machines

What are the best ones? Fancy a new one. I know they aren't as good as bean to cup machines but I'm on a budget and space is limited. Any recommendations for decent 3rd party pods welcome anarl.

We used to have a Tassimo it was ok
We now have an imitation posh one that uses ESA pods I think they are called
Basically round coffee bags, a lot better and cheaper.
Wife likes it cause it warms the milk up as well

Have a Nespresso at home, which is lovely once you find pods that suit your taste (there are loads of different ones out there), and a Tassimo at work.

The choice of pods for the Tassimo is restrictive. I only use Jacobs Cafe Crema Classico XL (Americano) and L'Or Espresso Deliciozo and will replace the Tassimo with another Nespresso machine when it dies.

Also use an Aeropress at home for a change of flavour (highly recommended - twenty notes on Amazon) and a big French press for when we both want a mug.

WE have a Keurig and can find loads of interesting coffees for it. I stopped using it because of the waste of single use plastic and have reverted to my cappuccino/ espresso maker

If you think the Tassimo choice is poor surely you take coffee a bit more serious than the cheap pod options ?

I drink several cups a day, either long (Americano) or short (usually a double espresso). I like the Jacobs Cafe Crema and the L'Or Deliciozo in the Tassimo, but find the others, particularly Kenco and Costa blends to be nothing special. Quite a few companies other than Nespresso doing Nespresso pods, so there is always something new to try.

Always have Monsoon Malabar beans roasted at a place here in Hull in the freezer.
