Never used my opinion of the players to defend Ross, but the opinion that our players are superior to others in this league doesn’t hold water for me. We’ve added players from this level to players who proved they weren’t anywhere near good enough for the level above. Recruitment has been our biggest failing.
 
Jack Ross has a lot to answer for. That defence is a f***ing disgrace. Set pieces we look like conceding with every ball into the box. Fuck being nice to him because he's a nice bloke, he's fucked my club.
 
The guy has had 2 days in charge, not jumping the gun over this result, people forget that this Wycombe side is up in the top 6 for a reason. See how we do on Tuesday and the manager has had more training sessions with them. I was not confident in getting a result against Wycombe today, takes time for new ideas to work, only positives from today are Mags back in the relegation places, Boro and Pompey getting beat as well. Bring on Tuesday and hopefully 3 points!
 
Would like to see Benji get a look in. He’s got pace and could inject some energy even if he’s coming off the bench. I know Donald has banned his involvement but it’s worth a go
 
For me Leadbitter and Power were nowhere. O'Nien is not a no 10. We are going to be sketchy all season away from home, so we best win at least 75% plus of our home matches. Fleetwood have two proper strikers and so do Peterboro. We can almost forget about Ipswich. If things dont improve dramatically, we have to buy a striker or two or wheel n deal in January. As in, get rid of Wyke and/or Grigg. They just aren't pulling anything out of the bag and don't look like doing so. Both have no pace at all. I'd get McNulty back in and keep Watmore involved until he gets match fit, then hope for the best til January.
