Last night I had a home made cheese, onion and potato pie with homemade chips and a Lidl white label beans with butter, salt and pepper in and mixed to hell.
It was delicious.
Tonight it seems like we're having pasta and fish...the chunky cod from Iceland. If you haven't tried it, get some.
That's what our lass wants but I'm debating whether to have a spaghetti bolognese or I might knock up and Indian curry because I've got a couple of naan's in the cupboard and also we bought a big box of Indian pieces, such as onion bhaji's and stuff like that.
It's possible we could end up with chunky cod, fritters and bigga peas yet. Choices choices.
It's me being a right fussy bar steward, to be honest.

Having a bulgar and giant cous cous, aubergine and tomato stew. Spiced with ras el hanout and topped with Zaatar. Will have it with a flatbread and a dollop of hummus. Got some haloumi left so likely grill that with it.

We had ready meals. Mine was a shite ricotta and spinich cannelloni.

Have you ever made ricotta? It’s easy. Nothing at all like the stuff you buy. I made it a few weeks ago as well as some labneh. Had it with honey, figs, pomegranate and some bread. So fresh and clean. All you need is milk and lemon.
Have a go it’s way better than shop bought.

I didnt know it was possible to make it, thought it just came in a tub from the supermarket!
The homemade version sounds delicious. I take it you are a bit of a cook?
