Ainsworth - Formal approach

The owners have changed but the recruitment clearly hasn't. He may turn out to be a good manager but to me it seems like the type of situation where a manager knows a club, expectations are low, he's allowed time and has decent success over a long timescale.

That's just about the opposite of the situation he'd walk into here. I'm not sure this is a great idea.

Exactly. First 1-1 draw and people will be calling for him to be sacked and replaced with Pep.

Interesting read. I’m really not convinced like but that does sound positive.
Well you can see why we are interested
"When the club had literally nothing, Gaz was on Amazon buying replacement goal nets for the training ground and painting the gym alongside club volunteers. "

Last season?

Stendl: 91 points from 46 games
Ross: 85 points from 46 games.

Strendl had a far better side than Ross did mate. I know that's not a popular opinion but I think its true. Ross also had a lot of turmoil behind the scenes to deal with and lost his star player in January. Had Ross and Strendl swapped places at the start of last season, there is every chance Barnsley would have been even further ahead of us.

Donald is probably rubbing his hands planning Ainsworth sprucing the concourses you in the stadium

I actually think he’ll be alright. Attacking, 4-3-3 rather than shite 4-2-3-1, team set up for the dark arts, got a bit of arrogance about him. He won’t be as bad as we might think.

Mmmmmmmm

Not sure fella.

We need ambition and evidence that it can be delivered. This lad hasn't went close to either. Like his enthusiasm, but feel it maybe a leap to far.

It’s 90% manager and 10% player quality on here man.
