Who would absolutely not want?

I remember reading somewhere that they made the groundsmen leave the grass to grow longer in the corners of the pitch to hinder opposition players getting elevation on the ball. Might have imagined that, but that's absolutely genius. I think we need a bit more than marginal gains but it's genius nevertheless.

EDIT - it's mentioned in the article
I liked the soaking the oppositions warm up balls in a bath of water for a few days before the game idea. Although I'm sure the pampered fannies probably have their own personal warm ball these days.

As others have said in all honesty I can’t think of a managerial appointment that would stop me going.

Of the options touted I’d like to see Stendel get it and would be disappointed to see Ainsworth or Holloway.

I would be disappointed in SKP, Keane or Sam Allardyce. I think people need to take the blinkers off, and realize where we are and what we need. We need a manager who has a good track record in getting clubs promoted and would relish the opportunity to manage at Sunderland. For me that's Paul Cook at Wigan.

McLaren rumoured to be interested according to the Ronnie Gill

I can see why he's unpopular but if you go through his career thoroughly there's far more good bits than bad bits. I'd take him on coaching ability alone.....it might be that he gets a tune out of journeymen but struggles with the prima donna millionaires.

Sol Campbell. There are plenty of scumbags that I'd be less than enamoured with, but a bloke that has slandered us with made up stories of racism would be beyond the pale.
