The Wolsley, Roker - anybody been??

Can’t be bothered to read the whole thread but did the wimpy OP ever summon up enough courage to step inside the place?

Cool, I went there by mistake once, I was impressed it was on the sea front with what looked like a brilliant beach it had a beer garden and the layout and practicality of the place was spot on.

Brilliant thread this. The OP is my favourite poster by a country mile.

It’s not on the sea front.

That’s better. But where does that coastal line stop, Blue Bell, Town, Board Inn?

For the avoidance of doubt only pubs directly facing the seafront should be classified as such.
I was lost when I went there marra so don't expect any sense out of me

Went there last month. Enjoyed it, I particularly liked the sing-a-longs and the beer garden.

When @mux joined me in a smokey and took his pipey out with me a rather drunken lass was all over him. Was almost like she had never seen a pipey before.

I can't remember what we drank but mostly larger, I think. Though I do remember when I went for a round of shots I was told they didn't have any shot glasses left.

Nice people, jolly atmosphere, friendly bar folks and much nice beer garden. I shall be back.

Have only been in once.

There was a massive fight which almost everyone in the pub got involved in.

Not been back again!!!
Then you should have behaved yourself!!!
Hi All,

Feedback would be appreciated; going for a family do. Looks nice from outside mind you but what's the food like / general atmosphere / beer?

Thanks in advance.

Try Google Map reviews or similar to see if you can get an honest assessment of the pub from there.

Posting on a message board will just attract the piss takers and sifting the serious opinions from the crap can be tiresome if you're in a hurry.
