No thank you, last thing we need is a manager with no experience. Need someone who is tried and tested at getting out of this division.

The only managers we'd get that are tried and tested at getting clubs out of this league have invariably failed afterwards as they wouldn't be back here. Whilst I'm very doubtful SKP would be a good appointment we need someone up and coming rather than a bloke who has failed. We've appointed far too many managers over the years that have failed at some point

Definitely one of those heart vs head situations this.

Heart says there’s nobody I’d rather see succeed as SAFC manager than Phillips, I love him.

Head says we’re too much of a fucked up club, especially if the takeover doesn’t happen and this period of uncertainty continues, and it would end in tears and tarnish his legacy.
