NFL 2019

Couple of shock results this week like, Chiefs in particular. Decent win for the Saints, good to see Teddy throw some points. Just ticking over til the return of Brees - ahead of schedule.

Atmosphere seemed really good at Spurs yesterday and got a pretty good game out of it as well. What was it like compared to the Wembley games for those who went/ have been to both now?

Can’t believe we’re (as good as) through week 5 already. Not sure where I’d put my money if I was backing the SB winners. Although probably the Patriots still, unfortunately.

What an absolute brilliant weekend that was. Gutted about the result but at least the Bears made a game of it.

That stadium is something else and clearly been designed for american football games. My seat was superb 4 rows from the front and right next to the Bears tunnel. I'll try and put some photos up when I learn how.

Highlight of the whole weekend was being approached by Jarrett Payton who shook my hand and thanked me for wearing his dads 34 shirt.

Amazing.....and fuck right off @Steak Pie ;)

Ha, we were a few rows behind you then., right by the entrance 109. Were you sat near the fat Bears fan who was chucked out?

Bears turned it round and it was theirs to win. Then the shenanigans around the punt and that Chase Daniels throw. 3 Raiders and not a Bear within 10 yards. 😁

Mahomes limping now..he’s took some hits here like..I thought the Colts would have buckled without Luck but fair play to them.
He’s absolutely outstanding like.
Gets himself out the pocket with ease when pressured and got a great throwing arm on him.

He wasn’t last night..he’s great don’t get me wrong but the Colts played a blinder last night..their OL was superb..ran the ball well using the clock up and keeping Mahomes off the field..the Colts DL was superb anarl..pressured him all night and shook him up a bit..bit of a reality check last night for him.

Had a great day out yesterday. Would normally just get the train in, but Engineering works put paid to that idea.
Picked my lad up in Andover, and drove to Brookwood in Surrey, as there were only buses south to Basingstoke and Andover. Train into Waterloo, and then found the Circle line closed to Liverpool Street, and had to go via Northern and Central lines.
Had some food and a beer at Liverpool Street, before getting on a rammed Overground Train to White Hart Lane.
Its a fantastic arena, and probably a better view than Wembley as you are closer to the pitch. We were in Block 422 and had a great view with all touchdowns at our end of the ground - North Stand. Wembley is easier to get to IMO.
The service at the food/beer outlets are a joke and despite it being cashless was incredibly slow. £6 - 6.50 for a beer, and £10.50 upwards for Burger and fries. There were no beer only queues. Terrible service.
Great game, which the Raiders dominated until they gifted Bears a touchdown. Bears stormed back to lead, and then Raiders fumbled on the goal line and eventually scored just after the two minute warning. I think the Raiders deserved the win.
Straight out after the touchdown, as I didn't fancy queueing with 60,000 punters at WHL station. Got on the first train in at 915ish got on the Train at Waterloo at 1007, off at Brookwood 11pm dropped my lad in Andover at 11.50, home in Bramley at 12.20am.
A tiring day for an old git.

Forgot to mention the SAFC fan seen in 422 with an "Invest in Africa" SAFC Coat on.

25 out of 26 at your ground which is supposedly challenging for kickers. He's the GOAT bar none at his position.

Hope Rudolph is okay though, Thomas absolutely annihilated him
He's annoyingly good there was no doubt he was going to nail them kicks and aye I think the record at Heinz field is something like 53 so to kick a 48 and 46 with the game on the line is impressive.

He's apparently out of hospital, going to be big concussion though I'd imagine. Bit worried you nearly got beat by our 3rd choice QB?

After a good start theres been a worrying downturn in form. Seattle and the Patriots coming up too...

Not worried by the secondary one bit tbh mate. Humphrey is one of the best corners in the league and Jimmy Smith will be back soon marshalled by Earl Thomas.

Any QB on a roster worth his salt should do well when he's got 4 - 5 seconds to get the ball out of his hand. Our pass rush is a disgrace at the minute and needs rectified via trade/FA or the next draft as a priority. That's the biggest issue for us at the minute with ILB a close second tbh.

Offensively I haven't really got an issue bar LG and looks like we've finally hit on a WR for a change

@M&T this time and since 2010 we've won half the games vs them. 27-21 Ravens

Disappointingly an early morning kick that one

Just back from London and an unbelievable weekend. What a game and what a stadium that is. Will definitely be back next year.

Does anyone know where I might be able to get hold of a programme from the game? I bought one on the night but the lad behind drenched it in numerous pints while it was under my seat and I’d quite like to get a new one.

There is something in it about getting extra copies. I'll have a look when I get back in

@Reznor its programmemaster.com that produce the programme and selling back copies

I think I must have been the other side of the tunnel as I was in block 110 and no one was chucked out around me (Not that I noticed anyway.

How on earth do you get chucked out of an occasion like that.

He was battered and getting a bit aggressive with fans of other teams, his Mrs was mortified.

Those pints of Neck Oil, and the ability to drink in your seat, is deadly in the wrong hands.
