I appreciate NDA’s etc about the takeover but since last season there has been a huge downturn in spin and talk from Donald and co.
It was the same with the Campbell takeover and now with this one. It’s proving a massive distraction to all. I know this could be Donald’s Christmas’s all coming at once but where is the captain of the ship when it is going down. It’s rudderless at the minute.

Donald is like a fella who has conned some old folk out of an old jaguar but cannot afford the petrol!Wewill be stuck at best at the lower reaches of the championship at worst we will be stuck in league one for years .........We have had a huge carrot dangled by dell and if it falls through we will still carry on but the dissapointment will stink our club for years imho.

A lot of clubs have dropped down and come back up with very little investment.
The problem with our club it needs institutional change.
The dropping of the leagues could have been the start but it continued with the likes of wyke Grigg et all, coming in as potential superstars to fire us up.
What is required is strong, physical athletic players who are well coached.

The back room staff needed to be experts in buying players to suit the system, not the system to suit the players.

The overall management from the kids to the first team required changing.
Instead, the owners thought they could buy their way out with players no one else wanted on top wages.

We scorned the players who turned us down, in reality they were one step a head of the big ship.

Good post mate. The piss-take party never really ended did it.

Seem to remember that Lyle Taylor implied that he wasn't impressed with what the owners had to say at all after he turned us down for Charlton.

Ipswich made something like £6m profit on transfers in the summer and are going to piss the league.

They talk they get grief, they don't they get grief. Moany trolls will always find something to snipe about
Do people really expect Donald et al to be commenting when there is a multi million pound deal in the offing? Do they think Stewart Donald, a self made millionaire himself, does not understand the respect, decorum and finesse needed when trying to thrash out a deal to sell the club to some of the richest human beings on the planet? The man can't win with some people.

Unbelievable how people can go from total euphoria to doom and gloom so quickly. Let’s all just take a step back and see how it all pans out. Me personally, I still believe it will happen if only with my gut instinct.
