I think the Mods need to remove any post that abuses any member, they need to delete all off topic posts, stop troublemakers posting on this topic and even start short bans for anyone on the wind up, its a hard job the Mods have but they need to reign in some members, this is a good furum being ruined by a few people, I was a Mod on a forum (not football) that was almost as busy as this one, the trolls took control, the good posters left and now its down to a few posts a week.
 
If people could also stop with the unnecessary and tarty 'delete the thread ' comments too, and actually just f***ing contribute to the topic instead, that would also help.

Again at the risk of sounding ironic: the fact that no news has come out about the takeover being off, despite the worries of a few posts last night regarding an ex player , has got to be positive. In general though, the time that has passed since the first sighting of the potential new owners at the stadium, and now, is quite worrying. Naturally, I'm getting a bit more tense as the weeks go by.

Sorry, but I went out at about 6:30pm, just got home and had a look to find out what’s going on and found this clusterfuck of a thread. If the mods are incapable of deleting off topic thread posts then they should hand in their badges, this is embarrassing, no wonder good posters are leaving this site. Starting to look like the mags and wums have taken over, used to love this site.

I don't know if its me being simplistic, but if a post is a bitch about another member and not about the takeover...delete?

Very true, you open a thread to read about a take over and all you find are posts from keyboard warriors trying to act tough when nodody really gives a toss about them and the mods just turn a blind eye. Very sad the way this has ended.

for what it’s worth, my opinion is we desperately need this to go through ,
I’m forever thankful for sd etc but they might just have to step aside before they wanted to for the good of our club
