Thomas Cook - going bust?

That's mint thanks. Makes me slightly happier.
Keep pushing at them joe, get all the debit details with dates and amounts etc.
Someone somewhere has the documents and info for you, sounds like they are just f***ing you about as you aren’t an easy case and they have loads to get through.
Good luck mate
Slightly disappointed there wasn’t a sex scandal involved with the email mind but there you go

My mates in Tenerife and his flight back to Newcastle was scheduled for tomorrow night.

Now they’re flying him back to Birmingham, which lands at 1am, then bussing him to Newcastle. The bus ride might be longer than the flight!

Least he’s getting home I suppose.

Me daughter works for Tui. Said she's had Thomas Cook customers coming in who were asking if they could get them the same £800 AI deal for two people for two weeks that they had with TC. Said she wasn't surprised TC went bust if that's what they were charging.

They were high volume so probably had better deals than TUI.

High volume is low profit though.

How they can’t make a £9b a year business viable is mind boggling.

Mis management and greed.

I can’t understand how a big, popular company such as TC owe £1.7 billion pounds when another big popular company ie TUI make a massive profit each year.
