From my understanding of what has been said, it’s not issues with the due diligence that’s holding things up, it’s the fact that they want to implement solutions to the issues that were identified, before they conclude the deal.

Utter Fookin Corporate clap trap

Purge of epic proportions?

In your opinion, and this is only your opinion (won’t hold you to it ;)) is there a likely clear out of staff (manager, coaches, academy, scouting) and a thorough overhaul out in place?

Again not taking this as gospel, but just interested to hear what your take on it all might be. You’re a million times more knowledgeable than me on all of this
To continue the house buying analogy, it appears the yanks have bought our house and we've assumed they might change the decor, when in reality they are going to bulldoze it and rebuild. Hopefully the rebuild can be done in time to save the season

Not really. If this club doesn’t go up this season we could go under. It’s a joke how long this is dragging on for.
Go under? You do realise we've massively cut our costs don't you and have billionaire owners coming in. We HAVE to go up this season but not because we'll go under if we don't.

This club is a f***ing joke like, nothing is ever simple, and this takeover dragging on is the perfect excuse to keep the inept manager on. The season will effectively be over soon. Shambolic.
As long as this takeover goes through I’ll not be too worried spending another season down here. It’s been mainly one disappointment after another since I started in 1979 so what’s one more season of rolling around in shite in the grand scheme of things?

They’ve been coming in for weeks, it’s getting tedious now. Crowds will be down to sub 15K next season given how shit the football is, the club will be struggling massively then. Right now the supporters are getting taken for granted, 29K for a midweek league one game is freakish and far from the norm. It’s not going to last. The football is soul destroying.
