I do honestly know mate. I also fume at the match at times.I understand that mate but it goes with the job I’m afraid. He had the opportunity to take the conversation in a different direction as he’s done before, but this time he got caught out. It’s out of character for him as he’s usually a lot sharper. The issue here in my opinion is his reluctance to concede that the way he’s setting the team up isn’t working. We have deficiencies at full back that are glaringly obvious and yet we seem to invite pressure in exactly these areas. Other managers aren’t stupid, and neither are we. If we can see it so can they and they will exploit it.
Personally I don’t want him to fail. I’ve never wanted a manager at our club to fail. From what I’m seeing now he’s heading toward the door unless he can send out a team to keep the ball higher up the pitch which we are perfectly capable of,and give up his obsession with clean sheets, it’s hurting us, and him.
I don't boo as I hate it....but I do inwardly at times.
Some are lowc in confidence and they have to man up or fuck off I'm afraid . Likes of Wyke and Grigg have to get through this but I know the manager won't hang them out to dry externally
