Too early to get shot but someone needs to have a word with him about his obsession with clean sheets. The crowd will get behind him if his teams push on, entertain and go for a win. Also, him and his backroom staff need to try to influence the players and the officials during the match more.

I thought that's what we signed Leadbitter for, disappointingly he hasn't been doing it. We haven't had anyone doing it since Larsson left.

100% out. It's not so much that I think our form this season is poor (15 points from 8 games, only 1 defeat) it's the fact that nothing appears to have changed since last season
We cannot defend, we cannot keep clean sheets, out game plan is either a) give it to McGeady or b) lump it to Wyke. The team selection is bizarre, the substitutions are largely ineffective (last night's were mental to say the least) and his inconsistent approach to tactics (couple of weeks back he told us all O9 is a right back and will now always play RB, then plays him as a No.10) suggest to me that he is a bloke under pressure who is tinkering in the hope of stumbling across a winning formula.

last season he had Maja. This season he doesn't and I can only see play-off failure in May unless we make a change

Out i'm afraid. Always wanted to give him more time and desperately want to see him succeed. But the excuses are starting to run out now, this team is looking worse. He's been here 16 months now. 3 Transfer windows with by far the largest budget. A perfect pre season. Yet we've conceded in every game so far and were making the same mistakes as last season.

Not out just yet, I'd give him until December to see where we are/how we are performing. But I think I've lost all hope in him to be honest
It'll be too late by December. If we make the change now, the season can be salvaged as we are in touch with the top 2 (seems mental saying this as we sit 4th) but by then we could be 10 points adrift of Ipswich and any new manager would only be able to target the play offs and a strong finish to the season

Hopefully once the takeover goes through we will start hiring the best people for the job rather than just trying to keep overheads down.

Hopefully once the new owners are in Donald's influence in the day-to-day running of the club is drastically reduced. If they're serious about building a self-sustainable football club then he's shown nothing to suggest he's capable of playing an effective role in that sort of strategy.

Hill and Coton need to be gone with him as well.

I have a suspicion these were only brought in to tide us over until we got bought.
No "on the fence" option. I'm no great fan of sacking managers, but it's getting towards Shakespeare's "tide in the affairs of man" coming in to play. For the moment, I'm conflicted.

No there were two of them on the last poll and it was farcical.

I keep wanting to give him time and then he continues with his awful football. He's been here more than long enough to implement his style of play and I've now come to the conclusion that it's just not going to work for him here.

It's time to cut him loose, he's clearly not enjoying managing a big club.

Out.

Not been in favour of sacking him until last night: that was the straw that broke the camel’s back for me. Utter dross and an embarrassing lack of chances created .... again.

To get promoted requires a win rate of about 60%, his win rate since January is about 40%. Can those selecting in please explain what you have seen that makes you think he can change things around?
