Takeover Rumours

I've only commented about 3-4 times on this 25,000 posts thread as all I'm actually waiting on is the official announcement. I have kept any excitement at a very low level as I want some actual real tangible proof with some specifics as to what is happening. Hopefully when whatever happens does, I'll be like a kid on Christmas morning
It's getting tiresome now though, another week to come of endless and unfounded speculation and false dawns. Thank fuck we can concentrate on our matches instead

I live about 20 yards from Jeff's House! Him and his Mrs seem like canny folk.
Is that on his side of the road or the club side? 😉 (used to work with the wife nex door. Lovely lass H)

I know someone who has worked with the players at the club for a very long time and he did say Sam was the best manager they have ever had from a players point of view. He said he was totally consistent even when the results where going the way he liked. He said all the other managers would panic and change stuff to suit the fans or try and change the system to get the results. The result being the players never knew what to do but Sam would be totally consistent with what he told the players and the players loved him for it.

Heard the very same.

The longer this takeover crack drags out the more I think it wont happen.

I see the positives in this but on the flip side you could say he was unflexible and set in his ways!

I would love Sam back me, out of the recent 10 years his football was the best I seen and he got the results to match it. It always felt like the fans were on side and even the players enjoyed him here.

Haway Big Sam!

He was fantastic with the non playing side as well. The difference when he left and Moyes came in was incredible

For a good reason maybe it was those 2 wins that helped relegated Newcastle, we can always say because of that, we put you down. they hate it

I'm not tired of any of that as I've been mostly ignoring this thread that contains all that stuff :p just don't think about it until safc.com actually announce it

That’s no reason to have him back as manager, he’s finished as a manager. Add to the fact the article is just made up bollocks with no quotes from anyone
