Takeover Rumours

Lads at away matches, especially, would happily make themselves look daft just to give people a laugh.

These days there are 50 people on a coach telling Facebook what sarnies they're having while ignoring the people around them.

In the days before internet, Facebook, twatter, SMB, even mobile phones, how did we manage to get together at away games ?
I know you know the answer but the young uns should try and imagine what it was like.

Sartori according to SD: "Rich as fuck and incredibly well connected".

The Sartori story so far: been to 3/4 games, had a couple of pints with some MLF's and a game of 5 a side at the academy.

A totally pointless venture.

I'd love to see him take a small % and stay within the club If he has some good contacts.. I remember SD saying he wanted to bring Uruguay talent across to the club..I still think theres a part he could still play at some point and if we were promoted and became a premier league club again it would be good business.

Some of the younger folk that get on here appear to have had a humour bypass. Let's face it pissing ones self laughing at the crack and getting mortal would typically be the only good parts of an SAFC away day

It's been over a year and he's done fuck all but attend games with mates. He'll be off and we'll not exactly be missing out. He's never been as interested as SD has made out, IMO.

Completely agree with this....might sound gready having loads on board but hes well connected so were told & is a door into another market (Uruguay/ south America) not just for links but also raise profile of the club. If this is to be a big project the club needs to be sold world wide

Unfortunately don't get to away matches that much these days but would rather chat to fellow SAFC supporters rather than be attached to a phone and never do Facebook . Memories are precious and are to be shared so the exchange of stories never disappoints that's what makes SAFC and football in general the game we love.
