Hadjuk Split v Dinamo Zagreb

It was the big game in Croatia last week, Hadjuk Split v Dinamo Zagreb, so I was looking for the highlights on You Tube and stumbled across this "Ultras" (FF! ) video.

The presenter seems to have modeled himself on Danny Dyer!

I was in Pula in the North of Croatia a month or so back and the local side NK Istra were playing Nk Varazdin in the top division. I went along, for one of the weirdest football experiences I've ever had.

I turned up around 30/40 mins before Kick Off, to see a queue the length of the street. I waited, and waited and waited as the queue snailed forward. I eventually reached the front, as the Half Time whistle went. They ID checked and manually wrote down every single person who entered the stadium. There was literally 3 people doing this, and the attendance I estimate was circa 5,000.

If you think Sunderland ticket office are disorganised....

Istria is a beautiful part of the world. I love it there.

Agree - we spend two weeks in that region in 2017 and it was indeed beautiful.

We went to Zagreb too and took in a Dynamo match, so saw the 'Bad Blues Boys' up close - all 200 of them in their own little section singing, jumping, setting off flares and generally going mental for 90 mins. Total crowd was only around 2500 and zero away fans, so all seemed a bit pointless really ;) ........but good fun to watch

Was at the Croatia v Czech Rep match in Euro 2016 in St Etienne, when it all kicked off in amongst the Croatia end. It was fighting between the Croatian fans of Zagreb & Split. Bedlam. Matched was stopped for a while, flares on the pitch, the lot. Croatia had taken a two goal lead but the Czechs drew level after the fighting. The Croatian players looked stunned at their supporters fighting among each other.
