two people connected to the deal/club now come out and saying we wont just be throwing money at it, hopefully that chills everyone out a bit. It’s a great step forward for the club, don’t get me wrong, having people come in who can see us financially sound and stable but it was getting a bit mad on here with folk talking like they’re gonna start hoovering up surrounding land and building theme parks and Dell factories and that. How any c*nt on here can be privvy to that sort of stuff is beyond me.

Personally I think he is a good fella to have on the board as he's a terrific public speaker, far more so than SD, can't see any issue with him being on the board. Plenty of huge plc's are run by folk with totally insignificant amounts of skin in the game, your average CEO will just have options and bonuses etc typically making up less than a fraction of 1% of the issued share capital. SAFC is a private company but still no difference plenty directors on the boards with little to zero stake in the business.

In big companies the entire operating board will often have less than 1% between them

I always want to believe that he's ITK but.. so many of the thing's he's said have been so far off that I can't help thinking he just gets his info from the club media dept and puts out the official line - which is often deliberately misleading.

This - tbh this thread had summed the NUfC ‘takeover’ up a bit. Absolute silence from the club, so never anything official in favour or against, plane watch, confirmation from individuals not really linked with the club on message boards (who I have no doubt are telling the truth tbh, not questioning them at all), companies house watch....Hoping it’s different ending tbh.

But when it’s all boiled down - there isn’t anything reallly to hang out hats on here

Roles reversed....how do you know it's false information what the poster posted? He might have his own connections within the deal? Just saying.
