Believe me there is a place called heaven on earth and it's called my life were it to happen.

I have said time again a choice between a top of the range supercar for life and one day seeing my club do something great I would go for the latter every time.

I would be overwhelmed with joy were it to happen. I have waited since 1997 for something positive to happen that didn't end in disappointments.

This just gets dafter and dafter, you post a message saying someone you know has been speaking to Charlie Methven and he says it's unlikely. Then two minutes later you post again saying Mr. Methven isn't here and you think he doesn't know anything. Surely when he told you that he had been speaking to Methven and you knew he wasn't here that would have told you that he is lying, but you posted what he said anyway 🤣

Been addicted to this thread for a couple of weeks now and the vast amounts of inane drivel are starting to deplete brain cells. At the same time though, I dont want to miss the moment that a press conference has been called.

The echo this morning by the way quoted, quite casually, that a takeover is happening 'in the coming weeks'. So that'll be fun if it takes weeks...

Exactly. I just don't get why Reyna is looked back on so fondly. We went from players who were dominating the middle of park to this stumpy little American who for the most part seemed ineffective to me. Slow, seemed laboured getting about the park, wasn't exactly the most physically imposing player we've ever had. He made 29 appearances and we lost 16 of them - we won more games with Paul Thirlwell.

I'm not saying he didn't have quality (well maybe I did looking back at the post I replied to), but he wasn't a quality player for us, at least not very often.

Maybe just maybe because I don't pretend to be ITK?

I only know Methen isn't here from what gets posted on here. Someone with real insider knowledge might know better.

I was asking to see if this could be likely.

If they've got a nice outfit but it's only 2 grand do they just stick some notes hanging out their pants/socks just in case people think they're poor?
