Fair enough he did his cruciate - but he played half a season for a side that finished 17th before that. He's always looked back on with rose tinted specs on here, maybe 'cos he had a decent game against the Germans that summer (they still got beat), maybe 'cos he was "Captain America", but the truth is he wasn't that clever like.

Differing opinions then mate. Doesn’t mean you’re right mind. We simply saw it / remember it differently

Schwarz was a quality player for us. I loved Rae, and McCann had a brilliant spell for us. We were stocked with excellent midfielders back then...

Just heard from someone Methen reckons it's unlikely.

I severely doubt this lads telling truth has anyone else heard anything
