We...I have certainly..been 'dreaming' for something like 20 years. Frankly I am bored shitless with it. I want something good to happen to us. I have been in this position every day in that time without a single thing happening. The time for dreaming and for hoping is over. Time has ran out for those in charge of the club.

I was told last week ‘by the end of the month’ by someone significantly connected to the club. Saying nowt else. Things might have changed since then of course - that was before last Friday which I’m calling ‘Huevos Rancheros day’ and last Saturday ‘Lobster Thermidor Day’.

If you won the lottery nothing would change instantly. You would still own the same house and shit car for a little while. You’ll have to wait for the Aston to be built and it takes a while to look for and purchase a lovely new house and have it renovated to your taste. It doesn’t mean you can’t wank your knob off looking at your bank balance while you wait for your plans to come to fruition.

f***ing hell man the change in attitude will be instant and fantastic, even if we’re still stuck in this grotty little flat for a little while.
