Takeover Rumours

We have only lost one. Heavily yes , but it's one game.

Think I will leave the clever people who are behind the scenes to make decisions.

Feel good factor didn't last long on here ffs.

Haway fella wake up. This been coming for a while.

I’m praying the new owners see sense and bin Ross straight away.

Theres literally no.point in getting took.over if people are willing to accept jack ross and his brand of "football" like. Its absolutely hideous

I hope the nee owners make the right decision and get shot because we are going no where under this fella

Don't agree like. Ross inherited a shit script with all that was going on - no central defenders, fit left back , absolute tools of mercenary players, Gibson etc etc, and then in my humble opinion the massive balls up over Maja and the replacement , then theres the failed takeover stuff this summer. In between he's failed to get his teams to keep many clean sheets which would have got us up , and playing Grigg when shit last year was a mistake for me, signing slow dwarfs in a quick powerful ruthless league, so he definitely isn't blameless but if he'd had a settled club to walk into with a settled infrastructure who knows. I think it may be tough to claw it back like with the history he's had and keep people on board but i think people are overly harsh on what he's taken on.

I’m probably wrong like but I’m starting to get the feeling Ross is gone and it’ll be announced along with the takeover.

If Ross was gone, it would get out. Just too many people out there who would need to know. Someone would end up spilling. Might happen eventually, but I doubt now.

I was thinking that but not after ALS and RR both released things saying he wasn't, that was obviously after they'd been sent something by the club. I know things can change but wouldn't have thought they'd get them to release that then let Ross go

We startedast season class and got.continually worse and are still doing so. Them excuses dont wash like. His style.of football is a disgrace. He makes the same mistakes every week

He's shite like.
Facts...at the season start he has;
Wanted to play 3-5-2 without the staffing
Binned off last years more successful players
Returned quickly to last season's formation only incorporating 1 of 7 summer recruits successfully into it - Willis
Not gone out and out to win 3rd Division games!!!
Has a track record of playing
trios of dwarven holding midfielders
Can't see we can stomach Leadbitter at home but not away where more legs are required

**ALARM BELLS**

Ross will be staying. Best we can hope for is a decent dof coming in because the actual football related side of the club is on its arse.

I'd be happy enough with that to be fair. I'm not convinced by Ross, at all, but recruitment has also been pretty awful. Is that Ross's fault? Are Hill and Coton not up to their roles? Either way, a strong, experienced director of football could be a great appointment. He can make sure he's happy with that side of things, Donald can almost take a back seat and focus more of the fan engagement stuff that he likes, methven and Davison on improving the business side, and obviously all supported by the new owners. Makes perfect sense, arguably more so than just sacking Ross unless a really mint appointment was just waiting in the wings which, whilst we're in league one, is unlikely

Largely agree with that. Last season he had the "unsettled summer" excuse but this year he has to deliver, just as Donald and co expect and have stated. I think he gets more support because some people almost forget how utterly shit this league is and think it's great if we string four wins together. Realistically we need to regularly string long runs together if we're to win the league and even when we're winning I tend to think performances aren't great so I've got no confidence that it'll suddenly click and he'll get us there. Mind if he's staying then he deserves support, I really hope he proves me wrong
