Ross on dobson

“I was really keen to bring him in, I really pushed to get him in the summer from early on.”

“It maybe looked as if we had different priorities and maybe the club felt we had to recruit in different areas first, but I kept chipping away at it. I was a bit of a pest about it to be honest”

Ross on Grigg

"When you look at which player has had the greatest goals-per-games ratio in this league in recent seasons, it makes it pretty obvious to identify your target - he was clearly our main target - he ticked every box in that sense.”

Ross on Willis

“Jordan is someone we identified a while ago, but we had to be patient because of the options he had due to his ability and age.”

Cant be arsed to go through the rest of them but the fact is every single signing is his.
Exactly

Also ozturk was obviously his signing

Chancer.

Few on here were calling the owners that a bit ago......that's gone quiet now.

By chance were you one of them

Threads are still there.
No ,but they have took a big gamble on us and it's paid off .If we never received this takeover this season we'd be down here for years .

I know what you mean but out of all of them have you ever seen a thread with so much horseplop ?
This one is deffe a whoppa of a post!with a subject matter of huge importance to our fans that attracts a lot of knackers making shit up!I have an outlook on life that i take everbody on face value until the prove otherwise .......so i believe reiver until proven otherwise ......i believe the poster who met don in the bog of some establishment and asked him about the deal the deals done and "the skys the limi" I think was the phrase..........I dont like the posters who make shit up or those who could suck the joy out of a childrens birthday party but smb is a broad church and through the muck and shite some gems are often found!Ijust hope this deal is as good as the unverifiable stories on here as it will be good for the club and sunderland city itself.

So our manager is a liar then?
Do you expect a manager to come out in the press and state he didn’t want a player that the owner spunked the entire summer transfer budget on?

Two players Jack wanted that he didn’t get Maddison and Shankland, do you not think the team would look significantly better with these 2 in the team instead of Grigg sat on the bench tossing it off?

Not checked this for a couple of days, can anyone sum up and confirm when it's actually getting announced, and also, have I actually missed anything substantial?

In a nut shell,
We're getting Wenger, Sven Goran Eriksson. And Arnold Schwarzenegger as managers
Messi and Pele are signing
The stadium is being made smaller so it's more exclusive.
Matchday tickets are going to be £500.00
Instead of a monorail all season ticket holders are getting jetpacks.
That's just for starter's

I’m not sure premier league managers are a realistic proposition right now. For me, Poyet was the one who got away. He was sacked too soon and I think could have developed us with more time to recruit to his style. I think he’d be up for a return, anarl.
He wanted to be sacked. He had run out of ideas . He threw the towel in. He was a disgrace at Hull and Bradford and we paid him a fortune to feck off.
He cost us millions. Don’t come on here trying to big him up.
We had good times with him but pleeze. The bad times were bad.

Just take Dyche as an example.

Will he ever earn top dollar at a top 10 club through his efforts at Burnley?

Will he ever take, and keep, Burnley in the top 10?

How exciting will circling the plughole ever be at Burnley?

Could he take a Sunderland team, he'd built and brought up, into the top 10?

Could he be tempted away from Burnley with money, a plan and a lifetime's supply of throat lozenges?

It’s funny I’m scoffing at your delusion for thinking dyche would come here but then also at the same time thinking how underwhelmed I would be if he did come 😂 thus probably trumping your delusion

I’m pleased for you.

Sevens a possibility. Nancy DELLorlia.

Donald catergorically stated on podcast that Will Grigg was Jack Ross' top pick for the Jan' window so why do people keep peddling the notion that Donald wanted him and NOT Ross ?
Why would Donald explicitly state that on the radio and risk being exposed as a liar if he wasnt telling the truth ?
There's some right whoppers on here fhs.

I can come here and say what I want ffs. You are correct to an extent, but we don’t know what was going on behind the scenes at the time. I maintain he could help us transition well from league one to premier league with a different crop of players.

I’m sure there’s other fish in the sea, he’s the only ex manager I’d like to see try again.
