Jesus f***ing wept some right fannies on here.

‘Has it been announced yet??’ - aye mate, it’s been announced but there’s nowt on safc.com, bbc, sky etc.

Asking Reiver if it’ll be announced tomorrow - how many times does he have to say he doesn’t f***ing know  he has said about 50 times in his opinion it’ll be Wednesday, yet people still asking. He doesn’t know, and if he did know the exact day he probably couldn’t say because it’ll drop people in it (including himself). He’s said all he can.

I’m happy it’s done, just relax and wait for the announcement man

Sounds like you need to relax

Other than being pissed off at the cricket I am, just happy that we’re the richest club in England.

Anyway.....my Mam has been going to games since the mid-80s, seen us relegated to the 3rd tier twice, lost 3 play off finals, 3 cup finals, hundreds of away games. Was talking to her on Friday and she was saying is this all takeover talk true etc and I said aye and how good it is, how much money they’ve got etc. She turned round and said she doesn’t want to be a Man City because part of the ‘fun’ of being a Sunderland fan is us being shite and being the underdog and trying to punch above our weight

Simply don’t understand that attitude at all. Surely you want your club to win the lot, but she’s concerned that we end up with a stadium full of tourists and genuine fans end up priced out.

Absolutely bang on mate, in every way.

I'm just like anyone else, sitting here in a pool of sweat so deep my laptop is shorting out and people from the 'Find Nessie' research team are showing interest
Cheers marra for all you have shared, been watching the lads since 1972,i was 7 when we won the cup in 73,followed the lads through thick and thin, home and away since then,if one fan base on this planet deserves a bit success it's ours,I'm f***ing buzzing at the minute, feel like I've got my club back anyway, but these latest developments are f***ing tremendous, cheers Riv ✌.

If and it's a big if . We become successful I don't want every Tom Dick and Harry supporting us.
Our fans are unique and brought up on shit football.
We want no bandwagon wankers like Newcastle attracted in the 90s

Im only 29andit feels a chore going to games but i will never stop, i can't get round anyone not wanting to be like City being successful and playing great football as daft as it sounds could help with people's mental health as well.

Yeah they do. You don't become a multi billionaire if you don't take notice of every detail

Our details are minutae....Premier League infrastructure, no debt, £10m wage bill a few staff on 2-3 year contracts....

Horseshoite....

So the current owners used 24 million parachute money to buy the club (potentially paying it back). When we are taken over do we think that the 24 million will then go straight back into the club because if so we’ll be in a really good position even before the new owners would need to invest.
