So we need to restrict their scoring keep a low run rate and keep them in bat as long as we can they need 200 to declare and be safe *
* or they could declare on 10 and bowl us all out for under 100 runs.

I thought it was very similar to Leach's ball to Smith but then again perhaps my optimism blinds me.

The heel of his sole was quite fat and some of that was behind, but none of it was grounded so I feel no ball was the correct call.

It’s a f***ing disgrace how many these umpires have missed and how many in general get missed these days - high time the third umpire managed no balls permanently.

I’ve been very critical of Buttler but played well there

The criticism of Broad is odd. Leach lasted 17 balls at Headingley and is a god, Broad lasted 29 there and get a good ball
Think it’s a mix of people watching limited overs cricket and expecting the bowlers to be class with the bat. We would all love a team of all rounders.

From the replays, it looks like Cummins has been bowling no balls all day. Only 1 called.

Surely with TV umpires now, every no ball can be called by the TV umpire and sent to umpire on the fields watch/earpiece?

He didn’t get a good ball, it was straight, back of a length and did nothing. I’m not criticising Broad mind, it’s not his job to get runs.

I think with broad (taking aside his bowling has been spot on), we all remember when he could bat a bit and sometimes this is where the slight criticism comes from.

Only one poster that criticised broad and he doesn't like white ball cricket.

An odd take when it was an excellent ball by Starc.
