The Gadgie on the left in that photo definitely looks like Schteve to me mind. I spent 5 minutes studying it convincing myself the bloke on the right wasn’t him then suddenly realised people meant the bloke on the left.

I fully support the idea that Schteve has been advising 4 billionaires to buy us and not them lot.

Long as he's not angling for the managers job like when wilkinson advised bob muarry

I bet Schteve would be a decent DOF to be fair - just have a SchteveAlarm fixed up at the training ground in case he decides to go near the first team

52 years for me (January 1967 v Brentford FA Cup 3rd Rd first game)....
BUT it is my 60th birthday next week. Perhaps Mr Dell and the lads are waiting to give me the best birthday present going! 😉

52? Just a boy 😉 64 for me and still haven’t seen us win at Wembley missed 1973 couldn’t get a ticket - never missed since, great days out - quiet, subdued return home unfortunately

I was on Tommy Southern's rag & bone cart, in Leadgate, when I was 7 years old.

I'd have to put the nosebag on the horse while he went in the Hat & Feathers.

One in every 10 ten times he'd come out with some miner, still filthy from the pit, wanting to fight him ....

... the men would gather round, making bets, while Tommy knocked them into space

I'd sit on the cart laughing while I ate the sarnies and drank the lemonade he'd brought out ...

... happy innocent days when everyone made their own entertainment

My Dad knew a fella called Bobby Southern, might be related. Been in the Hat a few times, used to go over the crossroads down to Medomsley for a pint in the Miner’s after.
I played football with some Leadgate lads.... used to get in the Back of the Shaft after matches, or coming back from Roker.... now there was a tough pub!!😁

Looks very much like Steve Mc that mind. All standing pitch side hands in pockets in support of Jack Ross as well, I like it.

Dutch Shteve burgers on the menu: the rar meat matches his fyess (hence his nickname: Burgerfyess), Gouda melted owa the top, in a clog-shaped bun.

Alarm gans off & a giant brolly descends owa the fust team, acting as an imperial aegis of protection.

Done & dushted....

More than likely mate, not a common name in the North East.

I went to school at Medomsley and was actually from Allendale Cottages ...

... my son has the road sign on the wall of his patio

There's an explanation if you do a search ...

... I can't concentrate, me phone's going off every 30 seconds with all the AOL stuff.
