Don’t mind all the banter about the takeover, some cracking posts on here, it’s just when the thread gets derailed and people start whingeing non stop about the manager, style of play, recruitment, etc... then others start whingeing about a few days delay from an estimated announcement date.

Been refreshing this thread for what seems like forever and struggling to keep up, take a short break and I come back to 20 odd new pages, think it’s starting to wear me down a bit now.
 
This message is just for those people who trust what I'm saying, anyone else needn't bother replying, especially saying nothings happening or typical Sunderland.

I've stated, for some time now, that these things are facts.
  • The club has been taken over by a number of billionaires
  • They want to invest in the club but also create a long term legacy project involving local groups
  • There are staff issues to address which, along with the lawyers, are slowing down the announcent.
  • This will happen, nevertheless, next week but the deal is different to the announcement, one is done and one isn't.
  • The people involved would be flying in and out. TBF the lad forwarding the flight info got a bit mixed up with all the rugby flights into NCL but our people were confirmed to have arrived/eaten in the NE.
Now, if anyone thinks I'm clever enough to make up these predictions then I thank you sincerely.

This is a life changing event for everyone connected with Sunderland ...
