What peeves these no-marks the most is any hint that someone knows somebody in relatively high places, for want of a better term, or has achieved anything in their life. They can't stand that, want to drag everyone else down to their sad level.

I was catapulted into Mansfield, at 8 years old, where I was despised as a Geordie.

I'd have some little bastard waiting at the school gates, nearly every hometime, so learned to stand up for mesel.

That's the only trade I ever learned but wealthy people, fortunately, have a use for that attitude and are willing to pay for the privilege.
