and who the fuck is Premier League News???
300 followers and they only tweet about Newcastle & sunderland, absolute bullshit
Someone sitting in their Wallsend bedroom in the shitty y-fronts
Aye load of crap

So in a nutshell:

Takeover completed and EFL have ratified it all
Announcement is happening next week
Ross leaving and a new manager / compensation being sorted is the major holdup?

When we’ve spent £200k on 7/8 players, you think the club has £500,000 to spend on getting rid of the manager, all his staff and everything that goes along with it?
Yes absolutely unless SD and Co falsified their proof of funds submission to the EFL when they purchased the club. Furthermore wasn’t it stated quite clearly by SD and Co when it looked nailed on that Mark Campbell was buying into the club that Jack Ross would remain as Manager? Contradicts this theory that the only reason Jack Ross is still in charge is because the owners can’t afford the compensation!

Pretty much, although the bit about the manager is more speculation, whereas the takeover being complete seems to be fact. Reiver has been discussing info he's got regarding the manager thing though, so good chance it'll happen

I didn’t know @Reiver had set himself up a Twitter account.

My guess would be that any proof of funds probably wouldn’t include half a million quid in compensation.

So someone like Chris wilder is going to give up his dream of managing his hometown club in the premier after just a handful of games to take charge of a league one club, regardless of money, which due to FFP wouldn't be able to spend much of it in league one anyway? Same goes for someone like Brendan Rodgers who will have ambitions of finishing in the top six. I'd be beyond shocked.
Someone like Houghton you could get.
It's not him

Be brilliant if it was Eddie Howe, has worked successfully in all divisions, highly respected, yet must realise that he’s gone as far as he can with Bournemouth. Perfect opportunity for him to start again and build a squad to get back in the Premiership and be able to seriously compete when we get there.

Would be the perfect man for us (and club for him), if he was prepared to take a gamble.
