That's the thing Sunderland supporters can honestly admit that at this moment in time we are not a big club, and it was a long time ago since we were, but in the next 5 to 10 year we could well be. Newcastle supporters just can't admit the truth that it's been years since they were as well, yes they are in the premier league, but they are making up the numbers.

When it comes to wankers like him I actually have a bit of sympathy for the decent mags. People grafting their arse off to buy tickets while he's taking the absolute piss and not bothering to put any effort in for over 100k a week. It's a problem in the sport and it's pretty galling whoever is on the receiving end. Helicopter nonce that he is.

There is a good interview on Twitter with Owen and mcmanaman.

Owen explained that after his big hamstring injury he couldn’t make the same runs as before and was relying on his finishing. He’s quite honest to be fair, the biggest mugs were those who signed him.
