Only thing I can think of is they want to announce a new manager alongside the takeover

Would be a very good reason to postpone the Burton game (so Ross doesn't have to do press conference) as well. Obviously using the call ups as an excuse. Would we really miss them that much anyway?

It’s part of the debate. Will the new owners pick the right people to run the club for them? We don’t want to end up with another Short.

If the new owners can’t see through Ross I’d be cornered as it’s pretty clear we’ll never progress with him. I’m confident such smart people will be seeking a new manager as a priority.

I think Ross is a reasonably safe pair of hands, problem is his football is dull and could certainly affect the new owner bounce that is coming should we then scrape 4 draws in the coming weeks.
