An announcement is due soon on a potential takeover at Sunderland football club, BBC Newcastle understands.
It's believed current owner Stewart Donald will continue to help run the club once the deal involving an American group of investors is confirmed.
One of them is thought to be Michael Dell, who's reportedly worth about £30bn. Forbes says he's the 25th richest man in the world.
