With around 7 Sunderland ladies graduates been represented in the Ladies world cup and The ladies football been massive in America could this have been a contributing factor that made the Americans look at us @Reiver ?
Definitely a positive. Going forward, the Lasses have to be a big part of this. They were knackered when the club cut them adrift, and then dumped on by the FA. For a relatively small amount of money and a bit of support, they could be a force in the women's game again. If the SoL was set up to raise revenue through catering, the club could stage Lasses games there and charge £2 a head and £1 for kids, and I bet thousands would show up. Oh, and a pre-emptive Fuck Off to the dinosoars who don't like the women's game....it is part of the future.

The only thing left is the announcement that it's all done.

Some nutcase, on the internet, is claiming it's the day the takeover is completed and announced

So the solicitors etc have all been done now?

I certainly think if we are going to have a full day experience at the SOL a decent Ladies Team could kick off at 12.30 or say 5.15 around the mens match. The club would make a bit on the catering contracts and Mrs Rocks (no) may come along as well. Mmmm not so sure now. :)

Certainly something to look into.
