Takeover Rumours

I suspect that D & C will be shadowed from a distance for the chosen new leaders of the club, not necessarily the owners to see how it is done due to the differences in uk and us cultures.

After this transitional period it will be quietly announced that D & C shares have been bought out / reduced to very minor shareholdings

I do hope they do keep a Brit perspective on board as don't want them to do the same mistake as ES by removing football people from the board
Any idea what they mean by that? Are they expecting us to fill the stadium and stay to the end, make more noise etc? Or is their another meaning behind it?

I've absolutely no idea mate, that was the entire conversation. I believe they're just expecting we take this 'once in a lifetime' opportunity with both hands.

I know we've been kicked in the teeth before but I, for one, will come up smiling.

The support is undoubtedly there but the SOL needs to become a place other teams freeze at.

If our own players freeze they're the wrong ones and were bad buys, we need players with character who'll take responsibility.

I imagine if they do what is being said (no reason to think they won't) then we'll grab it with our balls never mind both hands. Around 20 years ago we did and we 'only' managed a couple of seventh place finishes, didn't get to any cup finals and didn't get into Europe

This worries me a bit, if we get a snap election and corbyn wins. He has already said he will pinch people’s second homes at a fair price. Who knows what he would do with us. It will be in there thoughts. I think if we lived in more settled times this may have already been done and announced. I wish brexit was sorted so we could all move on.

Should be their thoughts, sorry it’s early still asleep
Second home some people can barely afford one

I think that is a massive issue now and the reason last season we failed.

I also think it is a reason for the quiet transfer window and that the new owners are not trusting the people in charge to buy right

the pr will be right when deal is announced and I suspect a campaign will be done to encourage supporters to return, which they will, especially if they can see the light at the end of the tunnel

My guess/prediction is that the new owners will keep Ross until the end of the season as his contract will expire.

They will be lining up someone new for the start of next season. We can build up a head of steam between next May and August. Loads of PR and rabble rousing.

I think that Donald, Methven and Sartori will disappear within 3 years.

I think history tells us....and them....if things are right on the pitch, the fans will come in their droves, and the SOL will become the fortress it was in the Reidy days. We can be relied upon, but after so much misery and false dawns, they've got to get it right.
From everything you say,I'm sure they will. Can't wait!

For one reason or another, it didn't happen when Bruce was "shopping at Harrods" mind...
