Even though I don't think this squad as it stands is good enough for top 2 this season it's still strong enough to be around the top 2 by January and hopefully our new owners will be able to give the manager whoever it may be, come January the funds required to get some real quality in for league 1 and push us in to the top 2 come May

I personally dont know Riever, but he comes across like a man of his word, and not a bloke to make up bullshit stories, so I believe what he says. Havn't a clue what he does for a living, but it seems like he mixes with a lot of high flyers, yet he is just like most of us Sunderland daft. So fingers crossed, and the announcement is made soon, as the club & it's long suffering supporters need a massive boost.

It would be nice if Furhman could transfer some of his skills trading artworks into the football transfer market. Imagine buying a player for £2m & a few years later he's worth £1.2bn! Canny bit factor 600!
 
Just to re-cap and get the thread back onpoint ;

* We will have the richest owners in football.

*Big Sam is coming back in some capacity .

*Investment into the town will hopefully follow the above .

*this is the best one ;there is a right kick in the knackers coming but not for us .


If one of the above comes off im a happy man never mind 2-3 .
