I use public transport, I recycle, I've stopped at one kid.

This all seems reasonable.

First two are common sense to me and should be standard, so if loads aren't actually doing that then no chance they'll be stopping other stuff. Kids is a personal choice , we actually could do with more babies being born over here, it's the massive African growth that is the problem.

Just import the excess African babies.

Just bring excess African babies here. Job's a good'un.

Africa's birth rate will stabalise, just like ours did after infant mortality declined.

plenty of teenage mothers around burning up what little money the country has,tax rises will sharp cure that though, unless of coarse we just keep adding to the deficit and waiting for the german car industry IMF to come to our rescue 😃 🦃 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

It's a tiny amount of money in the whole scope of things, absolutely tiny.

great idea, save on the NHS costs, then the £39 billion can go on tax cuts for the high earners like Boris has promised, win win win 😃🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🦃

You do what you can but eventually there will be stuff that makes you feel like a hypocrite. It's too large and complex to get everything right and we don't really live in a society that sees enabling as a key function. Everything being more localised would be a massive step but that genie isn't going back in the bottle and there doesn't seem a feasible alternative.

No it isn't, across the continent the TFR has been declining for decades.

'Many consider Africa's population growth a bit frightening, with predictions placing the continent's population at 2.4 billion by 2050. By 2100, more than half of the world's growth is expected to come from Africa, reaching 4.1 billion people by 2100 to claim over 1/3 of the world's population'.

Teenage mothers are well down too.

In England it was just shy of 10k in 2010/11, was at 4200 in 2017/18.

We're talking about birth rate, not total population marra.
