this actually isn’t a bad batting. Innings and the best any test it’s the awful first innings that’s done it. I’m gutted but we lose a coach shortly and we Try rebuild the test side play more red ball cricket the ecb have the World Cup now so they can start looking again

Shame we don't have Moeen coming in, he could cause some serious damage.

Buttler is crap, incredibly overrated when the pitch isn't flat and the ball isn't straight.
Did the pitch make him run slower back like ? We never got the chance to see

We gifted all 4 wickets.

The damage was done in the first innings yes. But that doesn't make it any less stupid.

We started the day leaving everything till root lost his mind.

Then bairstow gave it a different approach and it worked well.

Since lunch we've not played smart cricket. Really should have just eased ourselves into the session like this morning.

Can Jofra bat?

The problem is Colin Graves is persevering with the Hundred which literally only he thinks is a good idea. August now almost devoid of Championship games and they're having to play in mid April and late September. Priorities
