Have to say mate, they made the right choice when they appointed you.

Keep up the good work.

Cheers mate. I had multiple second thoughts at the time, but glad I went for it. It’s been really interesting, and I’ve also met some sound people. Particularly the two lads who started it.

And I was overly critical ...

... good to know there are people big enough to admit their faults on here ;)

Sorry if there is another thread on this but

I would just like to say that , having attended the AGM, it was a pleasure to see such a well run, “professional” and good spirited supporters’ event.
RAWA seem to have it spot on at representing the fans ,
( although I’m not 100% sure as whether ALS is a right choice to be a fans representative on RAWA , but that’s another matter)
a massive congratulations and “keep up the great work” from me .

Als are just one of a few aren’t they? What’s issue with that like mate

Als will make a new t shirt out of your quote about them :)

Yes there are a number of real representative bodies of supporter groups like seniors , disabled , LGBT etc linked into the RAWA and I think that is fantastic . I just can’t see who ALS actually represent tho, unless it’s their customers ?

Was a canny night. My only issues were the lack of questions from the crowd asked of Jack Ross (they started by saying don't ask follow up questions to get through as many as possible which is good, but then the panel wouldn't shut up and kept asking easy follow ups, think there was only about 5 from the crowd in what was meant to be 45 minutes), also they had a motion opposing a European super league (which like almost everyone I oppose) but it had 6 principles, one of which was being due to the fact that no football should be shown at 3pm on a Saturday. I disagree with a super league, if it happened it shouldn't be shown at 3, but I think SAFC should be allowed to show away games in the UK, voting for the motion sounded like we were opposed to it, I abstained for that reason but was the only one to do so!

My mate who was there was tellin me the questions from the audience were terrible and the panel did well to fill. Interestin how diff people view it. Ross isn’t most animated of talkers like either is he

No I'd agree that the questions were terrible. One was asking whether he thought Donald tweeted too much, he's hardly going to answer that. Another about whether he thinks refs are against us, again he's not likely to say much. A third was about whether the ballboys/girls are poor and need more training. Still, you have to expect daft questions at these things so they should have kept letting people ask them, they might have got a couple of decent questions eventually. By them taking it over it just seemed very managed, and I'm sure it was shorter than expected as well (being fair Ross might have been unexpectedly busy, but it did finish a good half hour before advertised), so I felt they could have given more people the opportunity to ask things

Is it not the case that nobody now actually thinks they are going to hear anything new or anything they don’t already know at a talk in and thus just treat it as a social event?
I did.
It was good to see the “gaffer” ( as he now obviously must be referred to as ) be slightly less than totally dour for at least at little bit of it ,
but the event did go totally downhill once the AGM finished .
