3rd Ashes Test - Headingley

For those poor bastards that went through it - is this what it was like in the 90s?

No. This lot are way more gutless. The 90s lads were battling hard against the best team cricket has ever seen.

The strengths were reversed too. This is a way worse batting unit than the 90s. Problem with the 90s was mediocre bowlers. We have outstanding bowlers now.

Abject session of cricket from England. Everything on the line and a superb position to get back in the series, and they have blown up in one of the worst fashions I've ever seen.

You sometimes get rolled over, that's just the nature of test cricket, but this lot have thrown it away playing shots that anyone who's ever heard of Headlingly knows you don't play. Need something special now.

Of all the teams to collapse to, in all the test series possible, we do it at home to these convict bastards. From top to bottom English test cricket needs an overhaul. Because it's not just embarrassing now it's genuinely filling me with rage. ECB has it's pants down and is enjoying being pegged on a world stage.

No chance of that. He's in very poor form and seems to struggle here. Scratchy as hell day and rather fortunate.

Aye, but it was hard to bat yesterday. Today it's f***ing flat as a pancake, our batters are just shite. Warner's caught how many today - four? He's got his dander up and is going to smash us into the ground later on a good batting day.
You know what, for once, I actually think they should tell Buttler to swing from the hip after Lunch (if he makes it there). What have we got to lose now?!

We need some momentum. May as well. If we can get parity we can cling on in the game.
