the reason they are interested is because of the financial health of the club..SD made it healthy..he is the finance guy..
CM is the matchday experience guy..and the matchday ex[erience...pints and pies..is shit..

But is it not quoted saying his connections got these guys to the table?

If that's all he has done it's pretty positive.

Aye, I got your tone. It was just a reality check for the ‘this automatically means that Gareth Bale will be arriving at Teesside airport imminently and he’s bringing Mourinho with him’ brigade

Yeah I didn’t mean that

We are though right? Doesn’t have to be Bale. Messi will do

for it to work they will only put huge money in when in top flight..the key is to not make operating losses.

I completely understand this, it has to be ran as a sustainable business, anything else could potentially be the end of the club, similar to Ellis Shorts tenure, plough the money in badly, get pissed off with it, walk away and leave the club pretty much dead.

Its just as well that Short had the clubs interests at heart, what a mess we would have been in, and look at us now, what a turnaround, fairytale stuff, thanks to yourself and Stu, done a cracking job, fuck the ignorant twisty fuckers amongst us!

  • Can't see it happening. Plus their scruffy, bitter and jealous fans deserve nothing. "Investors" you don't make money in football nowadays. They would have to put in fortunes to get them top 6 in the PL or anything like that for very little return. I don't see what's in it for them at all.

He was at the Cemetery Hotel in Rochdale on Tuesday. I'd sum up his mood at the time as quietly optimistic (and, yes, it was me who was spotted talking to him).
I've got a question for you, you being our resident financial expert any idea why the word is that it's going to be outside of MSD's portfolio and us there any benefits for us that it is?

They’re an angry bunch, let’s not wind them up lads. They’re having a tough time with no Rafa & still Mike Ashley there.

Actually, fuck it. Wind the fuckers up.
