It is part of the FFP arrangements but completely different to what the Premier league and Championship are regulated by. The wage bill is below 60% of income because of the work the owners have done since they purchased the club

f***ing hell, I never said otherwise

The wage bill was always going to drop, regardless of ownership, but I agree it's their work that has brought it down. The point is the excuses we were given for continually chopping it this summer are disingenuous, especially as every high earner bar Cattermole was out of contract this coming summer anyway

These are billionaires and they needed Stewart Donald to clean it up before they would buy? Im not buying it...Stewart Donald got the club for a song. He used to own Eastleigh and now he’s some English football guru?

I think basically people are putting 2 and 2 and coming up with $37 billion. A takeover must be fairly close though...
