Parkinson resigns

More likely that we weren't going to be able to bring in any players before the end of the transfer window.

What senior players are these?
I know I'm a bit of an optimist but with free agents/loans basically just about anyone...you could have built a team, fulfilled your fixtures and survived whilst still generating revenue even in worst case scenario. He himself would be under absolutely no pressure...my gut says this resignation is more foreboding.

Players don't want to sign because of the delay in completing the takeover according to the administrators.

These teams who have already played Bolton are gaining an advantage points wise playing against a team crammed with kids. If and when they get sorted the senior players get their wages results will improve for them.
They should be stripped of those points to make it fair to those who wont play them..

Sad news, always had a soft spot for Bolton after doing my teacher training in one of the big schools there. The school’s football team even played at Burnden Park and that was my first visit to their stadium.

He has a good rep and will get another job easily enough. I can’t believe Bolton will fold, just cannot believe it. Got family live there, been to their ground quite a few times to see us. Two members of my family are regulars there.
I have to go down there on Saturday to see to some business.
Been to Burnden Park and Reebok. One of my best ever away trips was Burnden Park on a Boxing Day in the 70s, it got messy, strippers Locky ins etc.
The first time I went to the Reebok I got a pint and wandered up the steps to have a look at the ground pre kick off, a steward puffed his chest out and said “ Pretty Feckin Impressive Eh?”
I smiled and replied “ Have you ever been to our ground ?”
I wish them all the very best.

I don't blame them really, but once the window closes there must be a fair few out of contract players who would sign rather than be unemployed - and Bolton do have the finances in place to run for the whole season because the EFL have confirmed this...

They probably will if they go to the wall.
No probability about it, rules state they will

Only if take over goes through and at moment it’s stalled

The last time Bolton were relegated they were in absolute disarray and he still got them back up, he kept them up the following season too despite the transfer embargoes etc
True but people complain about the way Ross sets the team up to be on the back foot.
That’s what Parkinson did with Bolton but he had a better defence than we do.
