Good number of new lads brought in, gaffer under fire, at least one of our strikers not scoring.

BUT we are digging it out, I think we look in decent fettle tbh. A couple more in and no reason at all why we won't click and go up. (keeper needs retaining).
 
A win is a win, enjoy it for what it is. I will take as many as I can when we don't perform well, as long as we also get them when we play well. Onwards to the next.

Mate, your opinion was interesting up to the last comment. This board gets more childish by the week. It’s not as simple as having a positive or negative attitude to our situation and much of what you say highlights we are still not the finished product albeit we have grpund out a couple of results. We have to dominate games to win the league and we are not there yet.
 
I didn't see last night's match. Howevere, I stand by what I said in another thread yesterday, in that, if we play the ball into the box to the feet of our strikers, they will score. We don't do it often enough, but when we do it works!!! Someone to pick up Wykes second ball also.

It isn't all that matters though mate.....not to me anyway. I want to see good,exciting,attacking,winning football from them. Of course there will be matches where we have to sit tight,ride our luck a bit and grind it out,but they should be the exception rather than the rule.

Rochdale looked good under their manager towards the end of last season. Have started this one okay too so I hope they have a good season.

We have Peterborough away coming up who apparently have been looking better so we’ll see where we’re at when we play them.

Watched the game and I agree, we are lucky we have a player or 2 up to who is of a decent calibre and take the few chances we create. Very lucky again last night, papering over the same cracks that were there last season.

We need to establish an identity and a way of playing under this manager regardless. Looking on to next season we need to know what we are trying to do and can bring the players in to fit that. We can’t really go up with an identity that is shite but got more individual quality in the side. We would be found out pretty quickly.

I think it’s fair to say the 3 best footballing sides went up last season too

Of course, i wish we played the way Rochdale did lastnight, i await the day we finally turn it on and play the way we should be
