Looks like SAFC could be heading for an unplanned Christmas break... literally

Would be better to have the games called off before the event than the result to be later wiped out.

Obviously be gutted to miss the boxing day game but a small rest for the players would be much better than us having two extra games which end up worthless.

Unfortunately I think Bury are already gone, and I feel for their supporters, but they haven't played any games so no-one had benefited.

If the takeover succeeds and Bolton recruit a new team, the games they've played will need to be replayed, otherwise, the opposition have played their youth team which is unfair on everyone else.

The Football League need to make some hard decisions very quickly.

Xmas without football will be like Santa hasn't turned up

Coventry dropped 2 points to Bolton, you really want them to have to replay and possibly win

It's not about what I want. I never said it was. It's about fairness. If they play 15 games with a group of kids then suddenly acquire a team (loans / free agents / whatever) then play the rest of the season with a full team, all of the teams who played the kids will have had an advantage, whatever the scores might be. At the moment it's only 3 teams .... who knows when it will be resolved?

Also, I couldn't give a flying fuck about Coventry.

Don't get that at all. Bolton put out their best available team & it's just good luck for teams that have already played them in the way the fixtures came out. I don't see how it's any different to just luckily having a game against a team with a load of injuries & suspensions. I think it's a lot more unfair if Doncaster end up having to play Bolton with senior players when they should have had a game against their youth team.

Ok. Let's hope that our game 21/9 isn't the next time their kids need a rest again.

Btw, I have nothing against Bolton, I just think the FL are letting a situation develop that will come back and bite them.
