Bolton have postponed game v Doncaster over fears

What's that got to do with anything?

Because you quite obviously weren't sustainable, yet you took someone else's place in the league.

Take Plymouth for example, they were relegated but are sustainable, therefore why should Bolton and Bury take their place in the league. Or the place of a club hoping to gain promotion.

No different from the likes of Woolworths going tits up , well established business that couldn’t carry on financially , the directors have a legal obligation to fold if they can’t trade / finance their way out of it .
It is different because Woolworths customers will just do their shopping elsewhere

Bolton is a football club and have passionate supporters who have supported them all their lives. They have no interest in moving on and supporting another club instead. It’s shit for them

I’m sure the people of Bolton would be far more upset about losing their football club that they were about losing Wollies!

Have a look at the last few years accounts on companies house , if the truth be known you should have called in the administrators years ago man.

In legal terms there is no difference, one limited company v another limited company, both insolvent and trading at a loss with massive debts.

Take away the emotion of you and others being football fans of your club , you’d admit the trading company is / was a hopeless case.

Look at the facts , keep the emotion out of the argument.

Unfortunately there will be plenty of clubs teetering on the edge .

It wasn't a 'hopeless case' until the previous owner.

If Woolworths closes, you go and shop somewhere else, it's a shite example.

Bit of a contradiction there.

Not really. Once out of admin, you'd still have a full 46 games to play. As it is, on the assumption that you'll add senior players once the administration is resolved, the teams that have played you already have gained a significant advantage over those that haven't. If you were to be relegated whatever happens, then your remaining games are more or less meaningless if played. Would you play properly - how are the points resolved? However, to relegate you with immediate effect would have dire consequences, as it would in essence leave you without fixtures, which is why I said it was a bad idea, Clearly, suspension of your games couldn't continue indefinitely - there would need to be a deadline, with possible expulsion (like Bury) if the situation wasn't sorted out.

Maybe so but serious error in not talking to efl and Doncaster before making an announcement. In fact it could be straw that breaks camel back especially if things don’t change quickly cos you’re saying u can’t play any midweek games at all

I agree.

The administrators of the club are as hopeless as the EFL.

They may as well have just asked the EFL to kick us out of the league and had done with it.
Genuine question mate...

What is the current situation with your club? Do you feel a takeover is close?

It's been 'close' since June.

The preferred bidders need to put up or f**k off and let someone else try.

Patience on all sides is rapidly running out with them.

...and how do we fund admin?

Administrators have a responsibility to creditors not fans or leagues. This shit show can’t be theirs.

And then there's the loose cannon that is Bassini in the background. Believe me, I'm sympathetic to the situation you and your fellow fans find yourselves in. But the situation is getting out of hand, and it's reaching the point where a phoenix may be best for all concerned.

What have the EFL done wrong?

I refer you to Shaun Harvey's comments on our previous owner.

Apparently we were lucky to have him.

Apparently the administrators called off the game against Doncaster without consulting either Doncaster or the EFL.

I'm not sure how that helps anyone.

There’s nothing to stop others trying now, I’m sure the administrator is willing to listen to any serious offer in fact he has a legal responsibility to do so
